Our Story Behind Jump with Jahkiyla Foundation

With a permanent smile on her face, and a “Go Out And Get It” attitude Jahkiylasucceeds in all that she puts her mind to. At the age of 9, she decided she wanted to be a model and actress. Since that time, she has participated in several fashion shows and photo shoots in both Florida and Georgia. Jahkiyla is the Brand Rep for the Noral Decarlo’s Princess Bowtie Line. In 2014, Jahkiyla made her pageantry debut in Cynthia Bailey’s Miss Renaissance Pageant in Atlanta, Georgia. Stepping into new territory, it was an amazing feat for Jahkiyla to place as the First Runner Up in the categories of Spokes Commercial, Youth Miss Renaissance and the famed Runway Competition. Jahkiylahas already garnered editorial credits. She has been featured in Black Celebrity Kids as an “Upcoming Star”, as well as both Move Over and Big City Kids Magazines. Jahkiyla can also add working actress to her resume. Jahkiyla’s 1st acting break came in 2013 when she auditioned for the Gabby Douglas Biopic, A Leap of Faith. Even though she did not land the role, she was featured on the local news in a segment titled, Extraordinary People. She was featured in a Disney Universal Studios commercial, and she booked an extra role in the HBO series, Ballers. Jahkiyla recently just landed a support role in a upcoming film “Life In The Deep”, a supporting role in a webisode “The End Is Near”, and will be hosting a upcoming kids radio station “For Us By Us’. Jah’kiyla have host several celebrities event including our very own Flo Rida (FYFL League) 1st Annual Award Ceremony.

00000172As if being a successful model and actress was not enough, Jahkiyla expressed her desire to give back to her community. With the help of her mother and a team of dedicated family members and friends, Jahkiyla started her own foundation, rightfully named the Jump WithJahkiyla Foundation, Inc.! The Foundation provides vouchers annually to children who can not afford tuition to participate in a team sport The goal of the foundation is to provid children the opportunity to play sports. Jahkiyla has always been involved in team sports. Since the tender age of four, she has been passionate about dancing and cheerleading. Alongside the Boynton Beach Bulldogs, East Coast Flames, and the Boynton Beach Cougars, the very sassy and animated Jahkiyla has been awarded three victories in the State of Florida Cheerleading Championship competition. By participating in team sports, Jahkiyla has learned the value of the friendships and teamwork. Her goal for the Jump With Jahkiyla Foundation is to allow more children the opportunity to acquire these life-changing skills. Jahkiyla has a tireless passion for community service. Recently, Jahkiyla became the Youth Ambassador for Black Celebrity Giving (BCG). Black Celebrity Giving is a media platform designed to promote positive contributions by and for the African American community. Jahkiyla was a local winner for Kohls and was also given the humanitarian award for all her hard work and dedication in the community.

Jahkiyla is a very busy girl, and she has been successful in pursuing her dreams. Being involved with so many different activities, Jahkiyla has placed the most emphasis on her education. She was named both Scientist and Mathematician of the Month among other academic accolades. Focused on her future and her dreams, Jahkiyla’s passion will continue to thrive, allowing her to make a positive impact on her community so that one day soon she may impact the world.
